\nKyiv Darnytsia District Court\u00a0closed the case against the activist of CF \u201cPatients of Ukraine\u201d Dmytro Sherembey.<\/p>\n

The pharmacists accused the activist and two media journalists of allegedly disclosure of trade secret of one of the hepatitis C drugs producer (claimant: LLC \u201cValartin Pharma\u201d, article 277 of Civil Code \u201cOn protection of honor, dignity and business reputation\u201d).<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is our first victory and as we can see the Court was fair and unbiased, \u2013 <\/em>says Dmytro Sherembey,<\/strong> \u2013 we will continue to defend the interests of patients that are violated by dishonest pharmacists such as \u201cValanin Pharma\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

The core of the matter is that after learning that the company \u201cValartin Pharma\u201d wants to sell to the state a drug that has not passed clinical trials, Dmytro has unveiled this information as the one that can cause harm to the thousands of Ukrainian patients.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cInstead of conducting clinical trials and proving the safety of the drug the pharmacists have started litigation against patients. This is an extremely inefficient method that may influence the company\u2019s sales. We have proof that some distributors have returned the drug \u201cAlphapeg\u201d to the manufacturer that has not passed clinical trials\u201d, <\/em>\u2013 says Dmytro Sherembey.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Legal support of the case is carried by the NGO “Regional Press Development Institute”<\/a>on a free of charge\u00a0basis<\/a>.<\/p>\n
