{"id":11598,"date":"2012-12-28T08:37:30","date_gmt":"2012-12-28T08:37:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/patients.org.ua\/?p=11598"},"modified":"2024-04-17T14:38:20","modified_gmt":"2024-04-17T14:38:20","slug":"president-ordered-to-finance-the-measures-on-overcoming-hiv-aids-tb-and-hepatitis-c-in-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/patients.org.ua\/en\/news\/president-ordered-to-finance-the-measures-on-overcoming-hiv-aids-tb-and-hepatitis-c-in-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"President ordered to finance the measures on overcoming HIV\/AIDS, TB and Hepatitis C in 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/patients.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/doruchennya_1.jpg\" alt=\"Article Illustration\" \/> The President instructed the Cabinet of\u00a0Ministers to\u00a0take steps in\u00a0order to\u00a0prevent the spread of\u00a0epidemics of\u00a0tuberculosis, AIDS and Viral Hepatitis and to\u00a0provide affordable medical assistance to\u00a0citizens suffering from the given deceases.<\/p>\n<p>According to\u00a0the instruction, after the first quarter of\u00a02013, the Government should submit to\u00a0consideration of\u00a0the Verkhovna Rada the draft law on\u00a0amendments to\u00a0the State Budget taking into account the expenditures for combating and preventing tuberculosis, AIDS and Viral Hepatitis in\u00a0accordance with reasonable needs.<\/p>\n<p>The Cabinet of\u00a0Ministers should also improve the mechanism of\u00a0using costs of\u00a0charity funds and international organizations aimed at\u00a0purchase and supply of\u00a0medicines and medical products for the diagnosis and treatment of\u00a0these diseases.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of\u00a0State also instructed the Government to\u00a0submit to\u00a0the Parliament the draft law on\u00a0State Program of\u00a0Ensuring the Prevention of\u00a0HIV, Treatment, Care and Support for HIV-infected and People with AIDS for 2014-2018.<\/p>\n<p>The instruction also provides for the Ministry of\u00a0Health Care to\u00a0submit proposals on\u00a0improving the system of\u00a0state management in\u00a0prevention and combating the given deceases taking into consideration the international experience. The document emphasizes the necessity to\u00a0eliminate interruption of\u00a0treatment due to\u00a0untimely purchase or\u00a0supply of\u00a0medicines.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of\u00a0Health Care should also increase the efficiency of\u00a0prevention and combating tuberculosis, taking into account: primary coverage of\u00a0risk groups with screening and tuberculosis diagnostics, finish of\u00a0optimization of\u00a0laboratories network aimed at\u00a0microbiological diagnosis of\u00a0tuberculosis and creation of\u00a0National Reference Laboratory according to\u00a0the recommendations of\u00a0the WHO.<\/p>\n<p>The President also instructed the representatives of\u00a0local power to\u00a0approve regional programs of\u00a0preventing and combating tuberculosis until February\u00a01, 2013, taking into account the provision of\u00a0all the necessary equipment to\u00a0medical institutions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The President instructed the Cabinet of\u00a0Ministers to\u00a0take steps in\u00a0order to\u00a0prevent the spread of\u00a0epidemics of\u00a0tuberculosis, AIDS and Viral Hepatitis and to\u00a0provide affordable medical assistance to\u00a0citizens suffering from the given deceases.
