The National Children’s Specialized Hospital Okhmatdyt has signed a contract with the winner of the first tender, UNIT DEVELOPMENT LLC. The builders are planning to start emergency works tomorrow.
«To prepare the modern building of the institution for winter, the expected purchase price was based on the defect report and estimate documentation, and a tender was held through the Prozorro electronic system. As a result of the auction, the cost of emergency repairs was reduced from 9.5 million UAH to 7.5 million UAH. According to the contract, the contractor has until 15 November to complete all the works that will allow the hospital to function in winter», — said Inna Ivanenko, Head of the CF «Patients of Ukraine» and Head of the Council for the Restoration of the Okhmatdyt.
The urgent emergency repairs of the damaged building include measures that will allow the modern building to function in winter and prevent further destruction of the building. The procurement will be funded by the CF «Tabletochki»
This is the first stage in the preservation of the hospital building, and a separate procurement for the main restoration work is planned.
